To all the officials who volunteered their time to work at the BC Summer Games....a big THANK YOU from BCBOA.
You folks epitomize what our association is all about - giving something back to the sport we all love.

Mark down July 27 & 29 in your calendar and check out Canada's National Women's team as they take on Sweden. The July 27th game will be played UFV and the second game on the 29th will be played at the Richmond Oval. Both games are scheduled for 7:00 pm. Tickets are available through Basketball BC
Then on August 10 the Men's National Team will take on China at Rogers Place (formerly GM Place) at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster

The BCBOA will be holding a Scheduler Training Session (location to be announced) and all member association Assignors are invited to attend. If you are not familiar with the Scheduler System it is very important that you make every effort to attend this meeting as all Member Associations are required to use the Scheduler System beginning this Fall. If you cannot attend in person a conference call set-up will be available.
More details will be sent out to Association Presidents, Assignors and Contact Persons in the next few weeks.

Tri-City Summer Camp Filling Up Quickly |

Applications for the Tri-City Officials Camp are coming in every day. To avoid disappointment we urge you to get your registration in very soon. Go the Camps & Clinics section of the members website to register.
Camp Dates & Features:
- August 15 - 20, 2010 @ Pitt Meadows Secondary School.
- Limited to 50-55 campers.
- Cost:
- Half Camp - Aug 15 - 18 $200
- Half Camp - Aug 17 - 20 $200
- Full Camp: $350
- Camp features
- 2 person and 3 person mechanics.
- Classroom and on court mechanics session featuring BCBOA Provincial Educators and Evaluators
- Games featuring some of the best Senior Boys teams in the Province
- Each game will have two observers on the floor providing immediate feedback and instruction
- Post game conference
- Camp T-Shirt
- Accomodation is available at Pitt Meadows Secondary
- This is a great opportunity for you meet officials from around the Province and to spend quality time with educators.
- For new officials this is a wonderful introduction to basketball oafficiating
Camp Schedule:

- Classroom sessions: 9:00 am - 11:30 am
- Practical on-court sessions: 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm
