We regret to inform all members that the 2011 Pitt Meadows Summer Basketball Camp, which served as the venue for the Tri City Officials Camp, has been cancelled.

Camp director Rich Goulet cited a lack of interest by participating schools. 

"We have experienced a decline in the number of schools and teams for the past couple of years."  said Goulet.  "And this year there is just not sufficient interest for us to justify running the camp.  It's a real shame as this team camp has been part of the basketball footprint for many years.  Maybe it's just run its course."

Consequently, the Tri City Officials camp has also been cancelled. 

"It's really a shame" said Doug Service, VP of Officials Education and Development. "The Pitt Meadows Camp  provided a great venue for us to educate and evaluate our officials in both 2- person and 3-person mechanics.  We'll have to look at doing something else."
